The European Academy of Education is forging its own path in the field of education, especially with its modern and innovative approach. Its students are mainly people who, due to their own employment, family and other obligations, do not have enough time to extend their education in the conventional way, i.e. full-time or combined studies. The curve of those interested in applying to the Academy is steeply rising, proving how much this form of education has been lacking in our market.
The study is designed from the beginning as online self-study and gives students absolute freedom in terms of intensity and length of study. Although the vast majority of students do without communication with the school and lecturers, there are still many who not only appreciate but also seek out at least partial contact with the lecturer and his guidance. For these interested students, the EAV began offering online consultations and face-to-face meetings with the lecturer in all disciplines last year. Some students began to use these consultations immediately, either regularly or on a one-off basis. Consultation dates were and still are fully booked almost immediately after they are announced. It is clear that some students are interested in contact with the school and the lecturers and that they prefer the freedom to attend or not.
It is this experience that has led EAV to expand its learning system to include live video lectures by lecturers in all disciplines that EAV offers. This is a new feature that EAV is in the process of putting into practice and already some students can watch the lectures as scheduled from anywhere in the world via any internet connected device.
The lecturers are experienced in the theory and practice of their field and this is not the first time they have stood in front of students or a camera. They will offer students a basic orientation to key topics, inspiration for further study, and insights for those who want to go deeper in their studies than is necessary to actually graduate. The videos are produced using professional techniques without distractions and with the Academy’s distinct signature.
The video lectures are an optional way for students to diversify their studies, helping to strengthen their interest in the field and motivation for further education. Combined with the study materials and support from the lecturers and the study department, the whole study will be a little more manageable.
