Our school provides online education, which is further tailored to how often and if at all the student wants to go to school. It is possible to come on a regular weekly basis, once a month, or to receive 100% education outside of school. For those interested in meeting the school offline, we have regular tutorials and practice sessions.
In the Electrician field we offer twice monthly online consultations which are done through Google Meet. The room does not have a limited capacity, so anyone can sign up without having to register for this consultation beforehand. The main topic is a detailed description of how the final exam will be conducted, what requirements are placed on students to be successful in the exam and of course the students themselves have the opportunity to raise their questions, both to the tutor and the group. Such spontaneous discussions between students are of great benefit to all involved and often result in interesting learning tips, insights from practice and even new friendships and professional contacts.
These meetings are led by our academy lecturer directly from the classroom. Through the camera he is therefore able to introduce the students to the classroom environment as well as the equipment. He will describe the equipment the students will be working with during the final exam, explaining and demonstrating the principles of working with specific devices. And everyone looks at him from their living room or work.
These online consultations alternate with face-to-face consultations, which we can also call practice. In the same classroom that students already know from online meetings, students come together to practice, test or learn specific practical skills such as connecting various electrical devices, wiring electrical circuits, principles and principles of residential wiring, lightning wiring, low current circuits (flasher, amplifier). At the same time, electrical measurements are taught. If the student does not physically come to the classroom, he has the opportunity to watch the practical lessons online, where the lecturer uses a camera to see everything remotely and add appropriate commentary.
In addition to the above activities, online lectures on individual topics are also available for students, broadcast at regular intervals with the possibility of delayed viewing.
