One of the ways to study your chosen field of study at our academy is combined study. We will discuss how it differs from distance learning and whether it is suitable for studying all disciplines.
In previous articles we have discussed how varied the spread of study at EAV can be and that it is entirely up to the students how they approach their learning. So, before you fill in your application form, you can think about which form of study is suitable for you and, of course, you can change your mind at any time during your studies.
The extent of the combined learning takes up one day a month spent in school. During this day, you will attend lectures by our lecturers on selected topics and according to a predetermined schedule. If your field of study requires it, you will also take part in a practical session in the school workshop. Practical exercises are available for the Electrician, PV Installer and Charging Station Installer courses.
Outside of these personal visits to the school, you will study on your own using the study materials provided (textbooks and sample tests) or from textbooks and books of your choice. Everything is provided for students in both print and electronic versions. You can also listen to some topics in the form of online video lectures, which have their own schedule so you can plan ahead whether or not to attend. For some courses, it is important to keep completing tests in the student system and writing term papers or other deliverables.
In addition to the publicly available textbooks, EAV is also a publisher of its own original texts, currently available for students of AI, IT Specialist and Electrician. But we are not stopping here and are preparing more books and textbooks, gradually for all disciplines. These textbooks are available to our students as part of their tuition fees.
