The year 2023 was a very dynamic and progressive year for the European Academy. Student interest in the degree programmes on offer was soaring, we received almost 600 applications, and our school had to expand rapidly.
The European Academy of Education provides education in professional courses and studies by distance (distance) learning online. This means that the student does not have to come to the school at all during the entire period of study, unless they want to. For those who want to, we offer tutorials to support their studies. The need to come to school only comes at the time of the final exam.
We started offering consultations and practical sessions, which take place once a week, at Hornoměcholupská Street in March 2023. Since then, the interest in attending consultations in person has increased so much that the premises had to be changed. The current address did not provide space for expanding the classrooms. Therefore, we searched the surrounding area so that the move, which was quickly becoming a necessity, would not be too far away. The premises we managed to find in Pražská Street charmed us. They are situated in a quiet location, easily accessible by public transport and with parking right next to the building. We have a lecture room, a room for consultations, practice and final exams, and we even have a library with a study room that students can access at any time, even if none of their colleagues are in school.
The larger premises also offer the possibility of a higher student capacity for final exams. These can now take place in groups of up to eight students and even more frequently than we are used to. From the original model of one final exam per month, we are now at three to four dates per month. We believe these capacity options will satisfy all students who are interested in a consultation or exam.
