Interest in MBAs is growing. Why and what exactly can this course bring to applicants?
What is an MBA?
It is conceived as a management study. It is therefore intended to provide students with primarily practical knowledge.
For these reasons, it is intended primarily for middle and top management, company owners, entrepreneurs, representatives of the non-profit sector, public administration or healthcare. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma supplemented by relevant work experience.
In the Czech Republic, the MBA is classified as a professional degree, so the programme is not included in the Czech higher education system. It is therefore not a Czech master’s level degree, although it is absolutely equal to it in the European EQF general equation.
The MBA is basically designed as a general degree and provides basic knowledge in the field of management. This means that you will gain a comprehensive overview in areas such as marketing, finance and accounting, while also learning the important skills and abilities necessary for managing people.
What types of MBA studies does the European Training Academy offer?
MBAs can be studied in a variety of disciplines and programmes to narrow your profile. It always depends on the offer of the specific educational institution. The European Training Academy offers three different specialisations:
MBA- Financial Management
MBA – Healthcare Management
MBA – Real Estate Broker and Team ManagementThrough the program, the student will acquire the spectrum of skills they really need. This is often not included in the regular offer of Czech universities.
Thanks to the increase in qualifications, people have a better chance of getting a better salary. This has been confirmed, among other things, by Insight’s research, according to which graduates‘ salaries increase by an average of 15% in the first year.
