The job market is favourable for all those interested in the IT field. There are currently thousands of vacancies. Why is there a lack of professionals in this sphere?
What prerequisites a programmer must meet
It is reported that there is a shortage of around 20 000 information technology professionals in the Czech Republic. Among other things, the demand for programmers is increasing.
This category of employees is perceived with many prejudices: but are they really genius geeks who are born with unique talents? Or is success solely due to their own diligence? Who can become an „IT guy“ and what should a candidate actually know?
Of course, analytical skills that allow you to analyse data to extract key information, such as performance indicators from a review of trends over time, are valued. Logical and critical thinking skills will also be applied to solve different types of problems. A candidate for this profession may or may not be a proficient mathematician.
But of course, a programmer does not stay in the plane of strictly given procedures; creativity and the ability to come up with innovative solutions are valued. Thanks to this, this worker also actively contributes to the growth of the entire project.
Becoming a programmer therefore requires certain specific skills. And not everyone has these. If you feel that this sector could be the right one for you, it is definitely worth focusing on systematic study of the field.
Why it pays to study programming
A programmer can look forward not only to job security, excellent financial compensation, but also other benefits. In IT, for example, it is not a problem to organize your work flexibly, have flexible working hours and work from home or simply remotely from anywhere.
In our school, the Programmer and IT Specialist (18-003-M, 18-009-N, 18-001-M) course is in full swing. By completing it, candidates can obtain a full professional qualification. Upon completion, the graduate will be able to program, manage SQL databases and take care of servers.
